HEAT EXHAUSTION

What are the signs?

  • Heavy sweating

  • Cold, pale, and clammy skin

  • Fast, weak pulse

  • Nausea or vomiting

  • Muscle cramps

  • Tiredness or weakness

  • Dizziness

  • Headache

  • Fainting (passing out)

What to do?

  • Move to a cooler location.

  • Lie down and loosen clothing if able.

  • Apply cool, wet cloths to face and body.

  • Sip water.

  • If vomiting occurs more than once or symptoms get worse, seek immediate medical attention.
