LOW BLOOD SUGAR

What are the signs? Shaking (early sign) sweating, paleness, weakness, headache, enlarged pupils or impaired vision, difficulty communicating or processing new information, dizziness, agitation.

 

 

What to do? Keep a source of quick sugar (e.g. candy bar, orange juice, etc.) handy. Eat and/or drink as soon as you feel symptoms begin. Sit down immediately if you feel weak or dizzy, to prevent falls.
